I guess I was about 10 years old when I first became interested in photography. I had stayed home "sick" and gone into work with my parents who ran a graphic design studio. While running around the studio and causing havoc, I stumbled upon a pair of legs covered by a large black cloth, from which protruded a large black object. So intrigued by what I thought to be a cool play area, I joined the legs (which belonged to my father) under the cloth. What I found was an incredible upside down world filled with endless possibilities. From that time on I was hooked on photography.

After realizing that photography was an itch that wouldn't go away, I found myself graduating from photography school and on my way to assisting various photographers in NYC.

I continued to assist for five years and eventually ended up right where I started....under a dark cloth at my fathers design studio. An experience that taught me patience and the fine art of handling the stress of the photography industry.

Years later, with my own clients and my own studio, I still wake up with the same itch I had as a ten year old. I have long since given up the dark cloth for a monitor and pixels, but photography continues to be an intriguing and colorful career filled with ups, downs and sideways movements that continues to keep me on my toes.
